marriage celebrant
When my husband Chris and I got engaged in 2011, while searching for a celebrant we noticed that there were very few who were around our age or secular, which were two things we were keen on! I had recently moved back to NZ from Australia to be with Chris, and while we were living in the South Island where film and TV work is not plentiful (to say the least!), I decided to look into becoming a celebrant - and I am so glad I did!
I studied at the NZ Celebrant School and performed my first wedding at the end of 2012, and ever since then this work has been one of my life's great joys. Now that I am a Mum and we have moved to Waiheke Island (and I have hung up my stethoscope at Shortland Street!) I am now available to do this work a lot more, and I couldn't be more stoked about it!
